Her gaze flicked to us standing in the doorway like ere an inconvenience to her already shitty

“Jules, this is Alexis” He held out his hand, pointing at the girl on her phone “My sister”

The words went into ot scrambled and didn’t make a bit of sense

He nodded and flashed a sleepy s his eye

“Alexis is your sister?” I pointed at her

“Yeah, she got stranded last night and I had to

go pick her up”
