The assistant coach dropped the puck on center ice, and I leaned into Preston, our sticks and gloves s into each other as arred for control of the puck I got possession and spun around him, the stick loose insound of skates scraping across the ice was drowned out by my sharp breaths Preston raced into my peripheral vision I passed the puck to Heath and went into defense mode to help clear his way to the net
