The sounds from downstairs were loud and obnoxious, but a second later they were drowned out when Alex shut the door “This okay?”

The tension Mary had felt so far vanished a little and she couldn’t help but laugh

“I didn’t think sex was this in-depth”

For the next hour she explained how sex had played a role in society, breaking it down to hiive Alex credit, he actually acted like he was interested in the subject and didn’t blow her off or what she was saying

The time went by quickly and before she knew it, they’d finished their session “Well, that’s the hour” She started putting the books back in her bag “I have an opening toether for an extra session?” She stood and slung her bag over her shoulder, staring down at him “Or not, if you’re busy”

“Like I’onna turn down a chance to have an extra study session with you?” He snorted and shook his head before standing “Hell no, that’s not gonna happen”

I blushed like a virginal schoolgirl at how pleased he sounded to spendwhat I wanted

They didn’t speak as they headed back downstairs The sound of guys shooting pool, laughing, and saying so Alex curse under his breath and apologize had her laughing
