“Maybe one?” Jayce answered
“Better than none!” I stood up “I’ Come if you want to”
I headed for the library exit, and as I’d expected, they all followedstir-crazy around here; I was just the most vocal about it We avoided students and teachers as we made our way to the front door I kneasn’t totally forbidden—I’d seen the advanced students co to the wards—but it probably wasn’t encouraged, either

if ent to the roof We could have appeared inside a wall”
“Yeah, I don’t think it was luck” Hannah shook her head, gazing around with trepidation “We’ve been learning about the various wards and protections on the school Shrinking to suit our confines isn’t outside the realhtly to ensure we don’t end up inside a wall”
Kingston huffed a short laugh “That’s soht Who decided to protect the school froh alternate planes?”
“So a little pale “Is there a way out of here? Out of this cave?”
“There’s at least one giant hole to the east—or whichever direction the sun rises froet a better view into the distance It was hard to see over the wall that surrounded the school “I can see it fro full of bony trees, so I wouldn’t suggest it for a nature walk”
Xero frowned “Bony trees?”
“Yeah I think they’re trees anyway They’re white and sers or so”
His frown deepened “I don’t re like that”
“How big is the underworld?” Jayce wondered out loud
“Big enough to get lost in” The fire deht orry “I don’t know those trees”
