“I don’t think I’ve ever seen anything more beautiful,” she breathes
I step up beside her “I have”
She turns and looks up at me “Really? What?”

She tosses her head back and laughs “That’s the cheesiest thing I’ve ever heard”
I shrug, fighting a smile “It’s true”
She sobers, a blush staining her cheeks “Thank you”

“Do you want to rest for a while?” I ask her
She shakes her head “No, I got enough sleep on the plane I’ry, what time is it?”
“A little after four,” I answer
“Let’s get dinner then, and maybe we can head down the beach?” she asks
