I didn’t like the idea of her doing that
In fact, I had this irrational urge to snatch her into my arms and tell her that she was mine, and I would keep her forever if I wanted to
“There’s also one that I have that not a single soul in the world knows about,” she whispered
Or, at least, she tried to whisper it
She wasn’t exactly acco feat
But she was trying, so she was getting participation credit
She rolled her head away froht my attention
“What’s that?” I asked
I really shouldn’t have asked her
Honestly, if I was a good o brush her teeth and go to bed and keep the rest of her secrets to herself before she spilled so she truly didn’t want me to know
Did I tell her that, though? Hell no Because I wanted to know all of her secrets And in time, she would know all of mine, too
“What is it?” I teased
She looked at me, and for the first ti intoa part of me that nobody ever saw
“I don’t want you to get mad at me,” she admitted
The way she isting her fingers through her hair let me know that she truly orried about what I would think of this secret
My head tilted “I don’t even know you, not really Hoould I getthat A, I don’t know, and B, happened before I knew you?”
She looked delightfully confused, which made me want to pull her into my arms
“Do you have a computer?” she asked, voice so quiet I barely heard her question
I frowned “Yes”
“Go get it I’ll wait here,” she ordered, snapping the fingers on her good hand with a jerky movement
It was the weakest sounding snap I’d ever heard
“I can’t bring it to you because it’s a desktop,” I told her, enjoying her boldness
“Well” She paused, her nose scrunching up cutely “Then bring me to the computer”
